Coyote Drive Update

December 2025

 

Our Coyote Drive fundraiser took place back in September, but we continue to receive company matches —so we wanted to share an update on how the funds are being used.

Thanks to your incredible generosity, we raised over $25,600, including a generous $1,400 Walmart grant. Additional matches are still rolling in, and we’re so grateful for every single one!

Here’s how the funds have supported our school so far:

    • Approximately $16,400 designated for new library furniture. Mrs. Paula is currently working through district approval and purchasing.
    • $1,683.67 → Broomfield Days Parade supplies (mostly candy + a fun headband tie-dye project led by our Coyote Cares coordinator, Landis Coutzoukis)
    • $1,477.18 → Staff appreciation meals during parent-teacher conferences
    • ~$1,500 → Howl-O-Ween community event 
    • Funding for the Makerspace holiday appreciation craft 

 

  • $1,000 for new library books (coming soon!)

Projects In the Works & New Additions

Thanks to the groundwork laid by our previous PTO leaders, we have some extra funds to put toward new projects! Here are a few exciting things on the horizon at Coyote Ridge:

 

  • Cafeteria & Lunch Line Sound Control – A traffic light system helps keep lunchroom noise in check. You’ve probably heard about it from your kiddo, and staff love the results so far! 
  • CRE Branded Tent – This new tent will be used for Lion’s Club relays, cross country meets, and other school events.
  • Calm Down Corner – We are transforming a conference room into a cozy calm down area for students. Pictures coming soon! 
  • 1XL Subscription Renewal – Renewing the school’s subscription so students continue to have access to this valuable resource. 

 

…and more exciting projects are in the works! Stay tuned for updates as we continue putting these funds to work for our students.
