Staff Appreciation Week (May 4–8)

Staff Appreciation Week is next week, and we’re excited to celebrate our amazing teachers and staff! This year’s theme is “Thank You for Helping Us Grow!” 

PTO will be sending home cards in Friday folders for students to complete with a note or drawing for their teacher. or any staff member Please have your child give their card out during Staff Appreciation Week (May 4–8).

We’re also celebrating with a Flower Garden—a day where students pick a flower for their teacher. PTO will be there at drop-off helping students choose a flower to give as a small thank you.

If you’re able, please consider donating a bouquet of flowers. Bouquets can be dropped off in the flower buckets on Tuesday, May 5, during drop-off or pick-up.

Help Us Launch a New Fundraiser for CRE!

We’re excited to try an online silent auction next school year in conjunction with a new Read-a-thon for our fall fundraiser in September, and we’re looking for volunteers to help make it happen!

Volunteers would help reach out to local businesses and gather items for the auction. Even helping secure one or two donations can make a big difference. Businesses, services, gift cards, or even unique handmade items are all great auction additions. We also need a few volunteers who are handy with tech or logistics to help with digital setup and organizing auction items as they arrive. Have "Auction IQ" from a past event? We’d love your expert advice on platforms, donation letters, or local leads to help us skip the learning curve!
